Technical features
After years of testing we are now able to produce a very efficient and silent SUPERCHARGER. Its great performance is the result of a high efficient impeller design. It can produce 0.8 bar (12psi) boost-pressure, at a low temperature and low power absorbed from crank-shaft.
Totally designed by “FlyGas”, it represents the first centrifugal compressor made in Italy today on the market.
- Open door for exhaust: with the main advantage of maintaining the temperature exhausted cooler, 200°C (392 °F) less than the same power produced by turbo-compressor.
- Positive source: (generated in absence of overpressure of the turbine) and consequently low fuel consumption.
- Centrifugal impeller optimized for a small range of rpm: with a consequent advantage of a minimum air heating and a low absorption of power subtracted from the crank-shaft.
- No risk of oil leaks through turbine-seals.
- Weight extremely low compared to a normal turbocharger (since it does not have the cast iron part).
- Not risk of ice in the intake manifold: the SUPERCHARGER heats the air.
